:: Fake outrage and virtue signaling
Arrests, deportation, detention, racial profiling, separation of families: it doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Every member of this community participates in one way or another.
Churches: by being silent, denying sanctuary
Schools: by letting ICE in, calling social services, sending kids to cops
Cops: By calling ICE, profiling PoC, non-english speakers, transportation, hospitals, etc.
City/State leaders: by enacting policy based on racism/white supremacy
