:: Last month we talked about…. Police in the queer community and I hope that stays in your mind this Pride month! I interviewed Da’Shaun Harrison, talked briefly about a 2015 Study by the Williams Institute so I hope you checked that out and some articles as back up.
:: In this month’s program, we’re gonna talk about music — specifically how musicians create music that tells about themselves, how queer folks have identified with the music and helps shapes us together as an audience.
:: It’s better late than never but I wanted to have time to give my commentary and audio description on Janelle Monae’s album released back at the end of April “Dirty Computer”.
:: Please note that the audio podcast below has only my commentary and not the music. Have the video ready to play so you may follow along with my commentary. There’s a countdown at the beginning so you may prepare to play the movie in sync with my comments.
