Today we are promoting the Northstar Council’s 5th Annual Rendezvous at The Forks.

Interviews with Amber Finley, Executive Director of Northstar Council. Enrolled member of the Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara Nation and Tanaya Winder, poet, writer, artist, and educator from the Southern Ute, Duckwater Shoshone, and Pyramid Lake Paiute Nations.

We are also highlighting the music of Tall Paul. He is an Anishinaabe and Oneida Hip-Hop artist enrolled on the Leech Lake reservation in Minnesota and will be performing at the event.

Saturday, November 7th is the day for the 5th Annual Rendezvous at the Forks at the Empire Arts Center in Downtown Grand Forks!

Kick off Native American Heritage Month with Miss Indian World Cheyenne Brady from the Three Affiliated Tribes and Sac and Fox Nations, Spoken Word Artist and Author Tanaya Winder of Southern Ute, Duckwater Shoshone, and Pyramid Lake Paiute Nations and Minneapolis based Anishnabe Rapper Tall Paul, plus other talented local and regional artists and performances.
