KPPP-LP is proud to announce their newest program, Finding Me, the Valley’s only queer radio program. Show hosts, Darcy Jeda Corbitt– an award-winning transgender advocate– and Nemo Siqueiros– a recent graduate of MSUM– are both transgender and passionate about giving a voice to issues effecting transgender and queer youth:
On Finding Me we are interested in your stories and your voices. This show isn’t about our opinions or our personalities, though they definitely will be making an appearance from time to time. This is a space for your voice, for your questions, for your art, for your fears. And we hope in this weekly hour together you will find the strength and courage to find the me who lives inside you. We look forward to having this journey with you.
Finding Me debuts this Wednesday, from 5-7pm on KPPP-LP 88.1 FM in the Fargo-Moorhead region. This special 2-hour debut show will focus on LGBTQ+ Pride, why we have pride, and what pride means to members of the LGBTQ+ community. Special guests include the FM Pride Committee and local transgender activist, DeeDee.
Tune in on Wednesdays at 5pm on KPPP-LP 88.1FM and online.
