Queer at School on #FindingMe – 10/12/2016

Queer folk often have poor educational outcomes. A key reason this is the case is because their schools are not safe or affirming places where they can learn.  On tonight’s show we will have a former high school student from North Dakota on tell us about his experience of being the first openly transgender student at his high school. We will also hear from Andrea Jenkins, a transgender poet and scholar from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Tune in at 5pm!
