On Finding Me, Nemo is interested in your stories and your voices and you’ll will hear his life and academic intersectional perspective of the queer identity. This is also space for your voice, for your questions, for your art, for your fears. And we hope in this weekly program together you will find the strength and courage to find the me who lives inside you. Nemo looks forward to having this journey with you.

Every year on November 20, the transgender community observes a day of remembrance for those who have been lost to anti-transgender violence. Tonight, we will be rebroadcasting the Fargo-Moorhead TDOR service which was held on Sunday, November 20, at First Congregational UCC in Moorhead.
The transgender community faces disproportionate amounts of violence and discrimination. While this is a difficult topic, it is an important one which we as a community need to discuss.
In our last episode on #Election2016, we will be focusing on voter disenfranchisement including voter intimidation, de jure voter suppression, and confusing ballot measures. We will review voter rights and resources and the measures on the North Dakota and Minnesota ballots.
This week we will be discussing the upcoming Federal and State elections, early voting, where Federal candidates stand on LGBTQ issues, and issues facing the LGBTQ community in North Dakota.
In 19 days, Americans will be deciding who our leaders for the next four years will be. Here in North Dakota and Minnesota, we will be deciding the same thing at the state level. On this week’s show we will be talking about why it is important for queer folk and their allies to be involved in the elections and that they vote for pro-equality candidates.
Queer folk often have poor educational outcomes. A key reason this is the case is because their schools are not safe or affirming places where they can learn.
Coming out is one of the hardest (and most courageous) things a queer person can do. Tonight on Finding Me, we will be talking about coming out, sharing our own stories, and listening to yours. We will also be answering questions submitted online.
